NTEBOGENG MODIKWANE

Ntebogeng Modikwane, better-known as Ntebo Baby on social media, grew up in the east of Johannesburg in a town called Tsakani with her grandmother. She'd altinate between Tsakani and Benoni, until she was 9 when she finally resided in the Benoni surburb. She's currently 17 and has a very bubbly personality which has played a big role in her young career and ambitions.

Being well-known within the youth or having influence was never part of Ntebo's agenda, but it so happened that it followed her and she has taken it with both hands. She enjoys being a role model to younger people especially females, as her inspirations also comes from role models who've made a huge mark in the world such as Whitney Houston & Brenda Fassie. "They made a mark when there were difficult times such as apartheid and being black doing such big things inspires me to do more" says Ntebo.

Being as young as she is Ntebo has engaged with various brands in the industry. Prominently being Streetcred whom she acknowledges Zeus & Kai for what they do as well as East Side Ballers. Ntebo believes that the fashion spectrum of SA has advanced where models can express themselves more and creatives are very exposed to it. Ntebo says that being a female in the industry is hard as opportunities are limited, but with the growing industry and equality as well as there being more and more influencers she tries her best to always be a step ahead.

Ntebo wants to be the biggest inspiration in South Africa alongside the likes of Trevor Noah & Bonang as she wants to present, MC and perhaps act and inspire young people to chase their dreams and work hard. Ntebo is planning on studying Fashion & Branding in the next few years to increase her knowledge and all-round aspectives. We await Ntebo's next moves as we reach an end to 2019.
